Popcorn Sales
Each year, the council coordinates the Trail’s End Popcorn Sale for units interested in raising funds to help pay for their program year. The sale starts in September and ends in November. It is a terrific way for units to earn funds while supporting the council. Unlike other unit fundraisers, Scouts may wear their uniforms while participating in council product sales. All can benefit from this risk-free sale (a portion of unsold product can be returned).
Friends of Scouting
Each year, an annual Friends of Scouting Unit campaign is conducted by volunteers and your District Executive’s to ask for each family’s financial support of local council operations. This is a voluntary effort to finance services in training, activities, camps, utilities, and other council expenses. Additionally, a community kickoff dinner for businesses and community members is held in February. Publications such as this Program Planning Calendar and the services of your District Executive are made possible because of the continued support of the Friends of Scouting campaign. Please make participation in this program a part of your unit’s program.
Scout-O-Rama Ticket Sales
Each spring the council coordinates the SOR tickets sales for units that are interested in additional fundraising opportunities and want to participate in the SOR event in May. Units can benefit from this sale with little risk and get a great sales experience for their Scouts. The youth that participate in the ticket sales can also earn great prizes based on the amount of tickets sold.
