This sixteen hour Wilderness First Aid training will be held over three dates: January 19, January 26, and January 27, 2018. The January 19 and January 26 training will be held at the Council Service center and the January 27 training will be held at the Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center.
This training is the assessment of, and treatment given to, an ill or injured person in a remote environment where definitive care of a physician and/or rapid transport is not readily available.
Attendance at all three sessions (January 19, January 26, and January 27) are required. All participants must be at least 14 years of age, a current member of the BSA, and hold the Basic First Aid/CPR/AED card.
