The Catholic Committee on Scouting for the Diocese of Orange is a diocesan committee of clergy and lay people and serves as an advisory committee to the Orange County BSA Council. The committee’s goal is to promote Catholic scouting to Catholic and non-Catholic chartered units. The committee also assists in establishing new Catholic Scout units through Catholic churches and schools, and organizations such as the Knights of Columbus and Serra International.
Adults who would like to serve their units as Religious Emblem Coordinators or Boy Scout Religious Emblem Counselors, should visit the Catholic Committee on Scouting’s website at www.occatholicscouting.org for additional information.
