There is NO upfront cost to your Unit to participate, Scouts can earn their own way and you can choose the prize program or cash bonus commission and this year there will be no limit on returns. The popcorn sale also benefits the council as a whole by helping us provide youth with a quality program!

Store Front Sales:

Stater Bros – All units are required by Stater Bros to schedule with Council. Store front sales times are as follows: Monday – Friday 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Saturday & Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Store front sales times are available on a first come first serve basis.  To schedule store front sales times for Stater Bros please contact Elena Garcia at elena@ocbsa.org or (714) 546-8558 x150 and indicate the date, time, unit, name, phone number, email address and which location you are requesting. If the store manager requires a copy of the approval letter from Stater Bros please click here.

Ralphs – Units are not required to schedule with Council unless requested by the store. Council is currently working with Ralphs headquarters on getting approvals and a list of approved locations will be posted here. If you are interested in selling at an approved location you will need to work directly with that store manager to set up store front sales dates and times. Be sure to confirm that there are no other units scheduled at the same time to avoid conflict.

Other locations – If you have received approval from another location and are required to provide a certificate of insurance, please click here and complete the attached form.

NOTE: If there happens to be another unit scheduled at the same time please work it out amongst yourselves, one at each door or split the shift, and always remember to remain polite and courteous as you, a volunteer, represent the Boy Scouts of America. Store managers may revoke your authorization to solicit at anytime for failure to follow guidelines or if complaints are received concerning the offensive manner or conduct of Scouts and/or volunteers.
