Learning For Life
Learning for Life provides programs that are designed to support schools and other youth-serving organizations in their efforts toward preparing youth to successfully handle the complexities of today’s society and to enhance their self-confidence, motivation and self-worth.
Learning for Life programs improve social and life skills, assist in character and career development and aid youth in the formulation of positive personal values. Youth become better prepared to make ethical decisions and achieve their full potential.
Learning for Life programs are delivered in two methods:
1. Instructional setting that utilize curriculum for grades K-12 as well as a component for Special Needs.
2. Work-site based program (Exploring) that give teenagers hands-on career experiences.
The Learning for Life Career Speaker Program supports 48 intermediate and high school counselors and teachers by providing business professionals who share job and educational experience, and motivate students to follow career path.
This program helps teachers provide California state mandated career curriculum to their students while engaging members of the community to support schools in that effort.
Learning for Life is all-inclusive, serving approximately 25,015 students in classrooms and sponsor organizations.
