Schoepe Scout Reservation at Lost Valley Conservation Committee invites Scouts and Scouters (no siblings please) to a weekend of learning and helping (hands-on) the environment at Schoepe Scout Reservation.  The Merit Badge will be offered to Scouts who participate in Forestry Management and its related work projects and observations.  Scouts and adults are asked to help with work projects and fees are minimal to reflect the contribution made to camp.  This Merit Badge will give you the opportunity to learn more about the management and observations in nature at Lost Valley.  The sign-offs will be done on Sunday morning.  Scouts, who prepare and commit themselves, should complete the Merit Badge requirements.

Reservations:

The cost is $40.00 per person and includes Lost Valley cabins, meals, and some program materials.  Early bird price is $30 per person if fees are received by September 10.

Please make your reservation at the Orange County Council office by calling (714) 546-4990 VSD or return the reservation form with your payment to: Orange County Council, BSA, Camping Department; 1211 East Dyer Rd, Santa Ana, Ca 92705.

If there are any cancellations, please notify the camping department by phone, fax or email at least two weeks prior to the committed date.  There are Scouts on stand-by.

What you and your scouts need to bring:

• A minimum of 2 adult leaders per troop.  Additional leaders are welcome as reservations permit.
• Signed blue card.
• Appropriate Merit Badge book.
• Writing paper, pencils, three ring binder, and 2ft x 3 ft mounting cardboard for project display.
• Work gloves, water bottle, daypack, raingear, seasonal clothing, hat & sunscreen, sleeping gear, change of clothing Class A uniform.
