-- National Jamboreee 2010

In February 2010, the Boy Scouts of America will celebrate 100 years as an organization.

Founded as an outlet to prepare every eligible youth in America tobecome a participating citizen and leader, BSA has more than fulfilled its mission.

Today, as the Boy Scouts of America celebrate our first 100 years, we not on only reflect on our rich history, but lay the foundation for a strong future, as well.

This year the Orange County Council, Boy Scouts of America is hosting a celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the historic Irvine Ranch National Jamboree.

This event was the largest National Jamboree and the only one ever held on the West Coast. The Jamboree is also the reason Jamboree Road was built and how it got its name.

Alumni from the event are invited and will be at all of these special celebrations.
