Scout Merit Badge Days provide Scouts with an activity-filled day combining hands-on activities, question and answer sessions, and fun projects to help Scouts earn Merit Badges. Only flyers approved by the Council Advancement Committee are posted here.
Some of our facilities like the Newport Sea Base, OSO Lake, SSR Lost Valley and Irvine Ranch Outdoor Educational Center have ongoing Merit Badge Events throughout the year. Registration and schedules vary for each Merit Badge Day, so be sure to download the flyer by clicking the button to the right for complete information. Each Merit Day Event requires Scouts attending must fill out and provide the “Activity Consent Form and Approval by Parents or Legal Guardian” form when registering. Please provide this form (Activity Consent Form and Approval by Parents or Legal Guardian) as required to the sponsoring unit per their directions. Some Scout units will or may provide this form with their approved Merit Badge flier, please use that form and submit as directed.
