Centennial Focused Patches to Earn

2019-2020 Centennial Service Award: Service to others is a fundamental component at every level of the Scouting program. It is in the Scout Oath (“to help other people at all times”) and is the third Scout Law (“a Scout is helpful”). In this, the centennial year of the Orange County Council, the Day of Service committee is challenging all scouts to earn the Centennial Service Award. Click here to view  2019 Day of Service info.

OC Historic Trails Award: This High Adventure Award was created to highlight the history of Scouting in Orange County by connecting current OCBSA properties with significant historical sites.  This award can be earned by Scouts and Scouters registered in a Scouts BSA Troop, Venture Crew or Sea Scout Ship.  The trail begins at the Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center (IROEC) and ends at the OCBSA Newport Sea Base.  This award can be earned on foot as a day hike or as a bike ride.
